Based on my the schedules that my cooperating teachers was gave me classes for actual teaching, I
handled 2 classes Grade 8-SunFlower and Grade 10-Dalton.

Procedures of Teaching
I always start my class to prayer first, I asked my students to close their eyes and pray together. Next,
I checked students attendance to make sure the students who attend the class or not.Then, I gave them
my Ice Breaking I called “HIPPO DANCE” to make my students dance and sing together. My students
very excited to dance and sing together. After they felt happy and relax, I continued to started learning
process, when I teached them with the topic about Strategies of Listening I played the video related to
the material to build the knowledge of the students about today’s
material.
In presentation lesson, based on the topic about Strategies of Listening I give them the Power Point
presentation about the basic strategies of listening after that I showed them a video about the “Flash
Floods” to listening, I also told them to don’t forget to noted in your note book about the information
will you get after you watching this video because I have a task for them after they have watched that
video. My students listen carefully, they were focused to listening and they also used the strategies of
Listening that I have explain to them.
After explain the material, I gave them a quiz to check their understanding and knowledge of that topic.

Where?
When ?
Why this video news important ?
What should we do ?
Are you alarmed about the flash flood? Yes or No, Why?
Next, my students will answed those questions based on the Information they have got after listening
the media. They will ctitical thinking to aswer those questions and for my students who can answered
the questions correctly will get points and rewards that I already prepared. It will encourage them to
answer the questions.
In today's last lesson, I let them did language products. I asked them to say a few words or
sentences that they noted earlier while listening to the media based on American accent that was
delivered by the native speaker on the media.

Especially the important news for their life.
Problem-Solving
Time flies so fast, after actual teaching for 2 weeks, I found some problems whether came from the
student and came from my self as a student-teacher. The several problems and the solutions while the
actual teaching.
Problem : My students did not understad when I explain the lesson and talked too fast
Solve : I should to speak slowly and should repeat about the lesson until they understand
Problem : My students did not understand thet were too long explanation and complicated
Solve : I gave them the simple and clear instructions, I also gave the examples to their understand
clearly.
