Teaching Methods
Kindly readers I want to tell you about Pedagogical
Content, The knowledge of the teaching or it’s called Pedagogical content is
important to be mastered by the teacher. The teachers have to know the children
needs before start teaching practice. Teacher's
pedagogic competence will lead the teacher to design and implement learning
strategies that are in accordance with the competencies, characteristics and
needs of students in their learning. So that, students can achieve their
optimal learning outcomes. In San Jose Pili National High School usually
teachers used Student Centred Learning, before teacher will start the topic
teacher will use Question and Answer about the previous lesson, after that
teacher will start the next topic, teacher will explain the general information
about topic discussion and student should active to ask the teacher and also
critical thinking about the topic discussion. Teacher also will use media in
learning process and student will observe about the lesson, teacher also will
give some example to student understand about the topic discussion. I think
those methods really help the students to understand.

Learning Material and Innovation
Teachers in San Jose Pili National High School often
use media and make a project that related the subject, in learning process
classroom already completed by some media to support the learning process such
as:
1. Black Board
2. Projector
3. Laptop
4. Speaker
to explain the material for discussion, teacher used
Ms. Power Point and Video. For the group discussion Teacher also arranges the
table format into some groups. There are 6 table groups. Why teacher make a
group discussion? It wll make the students more active on discussing with the
others and to know the responsibillity of students in group discussion.

Teacher in SJPHS often use laptop and projector as media
for the lesson to show the video or power point presentation. Sometimes teacher
and students just discuss use the paper media that teacher already prepared and
students will take a notes in their learning process and discussion. Teacher
there especially English subject use full english in the whole learning process,
and the students listening carefully when teachers explain the subject. I am so
proud all students understand english language and they can speak english well
in the learning process, I really appreciate them! Wawwwww
Authentic Assessment
About the assessment, there are kinds of assessments for
students :
Teacher will gives students the score of the worksheet.
The teacher will give students worksheet. The worksheet was submitted in the
next meeting. Teacher will check, give them stamp and score.
Giving some points to the students who can answer the
questions in daily task. That points will accumulate in the end of the semester
before they do the examination. Student who get the highest score will get
reward from Teachers.
And the last assessment they have Final examination.

Others
When the class was end, they must arrange the chairs
and pick-up the pieces of papper or plastic near or under the chairs. As usual,
they always do greeting to the teacher and say “Thank you Teacher”. It can
increase the students discipline and respect to the teacher.
TEACHING PLAN
Teaching Plan or Lesson Plan are debeloped in detail,
referring to the syllabus, texbooks and teacher’s manuals as a class
instruction. Lesson plan contain detail step by step of teaching process.

Education in the Philippines is provided by public and
private schools, colleges, universities, and technical and vocational
institutions in the country. Funding for public education comes from the
national government. For the academic year 2017–2018, about 83% of K–12
students attended public schools and about 17% either attended private schools
or were home-schooled.

Before teaching practice, me as a student-teacher have to
make lesson plan based on their topic. The lesson plan must submitted to the
mentor and cooperating teacher before doing teaching practice.
